Luther Vandross more than deserves the Hall of Fame! He had consistent success from the beginning of his career to the end, including many, many R&B and Pop hits. Every album except one went platinum or double platinum! And the other one went gold. Luther was one of a kind with a very unique voice. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is not truly a Hall of Fame without Luther Vandross in it!

Released a platinum album in 1981 and 2003.

12 of his 13 albums have gone platinum, 11 of them did so consecutively.

8 Grammys, which honestly isn't all that important, but it does indicate mainstream relevancy along with critical acclaim.

He's consistently been great and is one of the greatest singers we'll ever get. There will never be another Luther Vandross.

Mr. Luther Vandross should already be inducted in the Rock n Roll Hall of fame. He paved the way for many artists. He was a go getter at a young age, from his band starting on Sesame Street, to being a backup singer for David Bowie, to going solo, and more. Rip in peace to a unique voice and wonder. I hope to see him being inducted within the next 5 years.

I can't believe he didn't make the cut for the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Billy Idol ? How many #1 record does he have? How many Grammys? What a joke.
