Both Donovan and Graham Gouldman are being inducted into the Songwriters' Hall of Fame next Thursday (June 12). They are birthmates since they were both born on May 10, 1946. (Another artist who was born on May 10, 1946 is Dave Mason)

It is koo-koi-krazy that Donovan had to wait 20 years for his induction. He wasn't exactly obscure, or outside the rock genre.

I'm guessing certain people just didn't like him?

It was crazy that Donovan was inducted so late. I think he was very huge in 1965-1970. He is very very talented.
