Like Daryl Hall's online program, its livefromdarylshouse.com ... speaking of The Voice, he had Cee Lo Green on the show a little while back, it was "Crazy" great. Don't know what Oates is doing these days.

FIFTEEN YEARS?! H&O is the biggest rock n' roll duo of all time, dudes!! They reigned over my adolescence and I love, love, love them. I was aghast that 1)they weren't already inducted 2) that they have been snubbed for FIFTEEN YEARS. If Madonna gets in, there's NO WAY H&O should NOT be in. Co'mon now. Really?!

It's about time!!!! Awesome Artists AND their Awesome band. charlie saxophone artist.. Love your sax and flute playing and I'm jealous that your hair is longer than mine..:-).. I also love "Daryl's House" videos on Youtube! It's so nice to 'SEE' artists jam in the raw without digital mixes…..with various artists Nice addition!!! Loved the 'Joe Walsh' video at his home…I'd buy the whole series. "Daryl House, however Daryl made it free to the public! Very nice and creative!

The Hall & Oates induction was a smart decision by the Committee. A great example of making hit songs and longevity really helps a group. They have been churning out music and having concerts over 40 yrs. Hall & Oates are one of those groups who are respected by many of music fans. My FAV Hall & Oates songs Sara Smiles, Private Eyes, and Maneater. Thanks RRHOF for the induction of KISS as well. KING

Hall & Oates' performance and production of Elton John's and Bernie Taupin's "Philadelphia Freedom" on the 1991 Two Rooms album was very weak, the weakest track on the whole album, the only weak track. I was very disappointed with it, knowing how very capable Hall & Oates still were at the time. This was a "Missed Opportunity" to knock "Philadelphia Freedom" out of the ballpark just as the original Elton John version did. Hall & Oates had released their album Change Of Season a year earlier in 1990, and their vocals were loud and clear on all the tracks, including the two singles, "So Close" and "Don't Hold Back Your Love." On "Philadelphia Freedom" though, it was like they didn't even want to be there, or they were on drugs or something. Daryl Hall runs out of breathe on some parts and you can't hear some of the words clearly. I'm not sure how they got involved in this project (I guess Elton asked) or if they are even Elton John fans, but that track could have been made a whole lot better. The sound quality on the whole track was not good at all. In the notes for the album, Hall & Oates mention their love for the sound of Philadelphia, something along those lines. I don't have the exact words in front of me right now.

If your including Charles DeChant as snubbed member of Hall & Oats then you better include their former bass player, the late Tom "T-Bone" Wolk, guitarist G. E. Smith and songwriting partners Sara and the late Janna Allen
