No comments for this unique, enigmatic artist? Shame, shame, shame! Big Science is an electronic music masterpiece, containing some of the best and eeriest vocoder work ever recorded. O Superman (A transgressive, musically progressive and radical track that still sounds as fresh and hypnotic today) is probably the track most other posters know Laurie Anderson for; she is certainly the epitome of an acquired taste, but give Big Science a few listens before judging. ABBA, Madonna, other posers in the so called rock hall yet Laurie and many others influential, game-changing musicians are not. Still surprised Iggy and the Stooges are. Need Sparks in there as well or just shut the stupid place down. Posted by Plausible Deniability on Saturday, 11/12/2022 @ 15:28pm |
