3 comments so far (post your own)How can it be that Marianne Faithfull is not in the Rock & Roll HOF? It's all the more perplexing to know that Joan Jett (whose second most famous record is just a cover of Tommy James' "Crimson & Clover") is in, but Marianne Faithfull is not. To compound the inequities, Tommy James is also not in the HOF. HOF, please fix these oversights. Posted by Ron on Tuesday, 11/2/2021 @ 15:39pm |
I like Marianne Faithfull's version of "As Tears Go By" because you're never too old to feel like a child. Posted by Brian Schonour on Monday, 01/16/2023 @ 21:20pm |
It's weird how Marianne Faithfull has been eligible for rock hall consideration since 1990, but has never been inducted, let alone nominated. She should've been inducted already simply for being part of the British Invasion and her close association with the Stones during that era. Posted by Elle Dee on Friday, 03/10/2023 @ 03:08am |
