Thom's a genius...they shld and will be inducted! Posted by Jo on Friday, 03/21/2014 @ 09:40am |
Its impossible for them not to be inducted because they're RADIOHEAD. Posted by Ace on Wednesday, 04/2/2014 @ 23:39pm |
Do the guys in Radiohead even care? I honestly don't see them doing such a self-congratulatory thing like the Rock Hall. As a fan since 1995, I can say that it seems kind of "too industry" for a bunch of music nerds like Radiohead. Posted by Dee on Wednesday, 05/14/2014 @ 04:15am |
Induct Joy Division, The Cure, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, Siouxsie & The Banshees and THEN let's talk about Radiohead. Posted by BulmaPunkRocker on Monday, 07/7/2014 @ 00:04am |
Not a fan, but I think they're a first ballot lock. Highly influential and popular. Posted by dmg on Tuesday, 04/21/2015 @ 13:41pm |
Watching this year's induction on HBO, I keep thinking that 2017/18 can't come soon enough. Radiohead have got to be the most deserving band out there. Would they even show up to the ceremony? Certainly not if Miley Cyrus upstages things as she did tonight with Joan Jett. Posted by eileen on Saturday, 05/30/2015 @ 21:37pm |
I can fit a log up my anus with enough determination! Time to practice for the world record! Posted by eileen on Tuesday, 05/17/2016 @ 03:02am |
Musically, they've been quite creative, and have crafted a few masterpieces such as OK Computer. But furthermore, the impact they've had on the music industry and the use of the internet to get their music out there should give them bonus points. That said, it could be the reason they DON'T get inducted, seeing as they essentially gave the finger to the industry and created their own path. Posted by StephD on Tuesday, 05/17/2016 @ 14:31pm |
There an amazing band and I would be surprised if they didn't make it in. Posted by audrey on Wednesday, 09/28/2016 @ 20:18pm |
Radiohead should be inducted, but only if they give props to every lesser-known artist they plagiarized en route to becoming household names. They're Oasis with slightly better musicianship. Posted by Nermen on Sunday, 11/13/2016 @ 16:04pm |
Troll much, Nermen? Notwithstanding a complete lack of similarity between their sounds, Radiohead have actually been around longer than (or at least started at practically the same time as) Oasis. Posted by Brandon on Monday, 04/10/2017 @ 12:12pm |
Does anybody else hear a Moody Blues influence on the middle section of "Paranoid Android?" Posted by Bruce on Saturday, 10/7/2017 @ 08:43am |

Looking at the nominees, I think Radiohead has a pretty good shot to be one of the ballot winners this year. The only thing I have to worry about is this: Posted by The Dude on Friday, 10/12/2018 @ 15:01pm |

Thom Yorke not attending his induction. Are any members attending? Posted by Roy on Wednesday, 01/9/2019 @ 14:25pm |
Did anyone from Radiohead show up? Posted by Roy on Friday, 03/29/2019 @ 21:42pm |
Yep. Phil and Ed. Posted by Casper on Friday, 03/29/2019 @ 22:03pm |
Im glad that Radiohead got inducted into the RRHOF, they're the greatest band since The Beatles & Pink Floyd. Their work is ranked on number of lists including Rolling Stone & VH1. Their music is so diverse in many ways, they're the digital underground pioneers. they won 22 of 79 awards in total. Posted by Navonte Robertson on Saturday, 08/31/2019 @ 15:25pm |
I really felt Radiohead shared a lot of common grounds with Pink Floyd; both of them are album-oriented and Orwellian while the Beatles were mostly song oriented musically. Posted by The Dude on Saturday, 08/31/2019 @ 15:36pm |
Music is in a golden age now and in the past two decades. To ignore it cause you just hate hipsters and humanity in general is absurd. i see you also are autistic like me but you should give new music a shot. Posted by David W Richman on Sunday, 02/6/2022 @ 15:34pm |
